What the diagnostic covers

Current-state review

Existing uses, official or not (Shadow AI), the tools, the data involved and the teams’ maturity level.

Prioritised use cases

Use cases ranked by business value, feasibility and risk level, with those to launch first.

Governance and data protection

AI charter, usage rules, data that must not leave the company, roles and approval process.

Roadmap and recommendations

A realistic action plan: quick wins, the pilot to launch, useful training and conditions for success.

A four-step approach

  1. Scope

Identify the sponsor, the business issue and the decision scope before any work starts.

  2. Observe

Interviews and workshops with management, business teams, HR and IT; review of real uses.

  3. Prioritise

Rank use cases and risks using simple, shared criteria.

  4. Report back

A clear deliverable, a roadmap and a next-step decision: pilot, training or stop.

When is a diagnostic appropriate?

A diagnostic is proposed only once a sponsor and a business issue have been identified. It is often preceded by short training or a scoping workshop, which prepare management and teams. If the value is confirmed, it continues with a business pilot and then rollout support. The price is set by quote after scoping; it cannot be deduced from the on-demand expert’s hourly rate.

Diagnostic and public funding: what to check

Depending on the company and the type of work, an AI diagnostic or audit may fit within a public support scheme such as Bpifrance’s Diag Data IA. Eligibility, the intervention framework and acceptance of the application are checked case by case: no funding is promised or guaranteed.

Before getting started

Do we need an audit to get started?

No. We start with short training, a workshop or a scoping meeting. A diagnostic is proposed only once a sponsor, a business issue and a decision scope have been identified.

What does an AI diagnostic or audit deliver?

A current-state review, a prioritised list of use cases, a roadmap, governance rules and recommendations, proportionate to the size of the organisation.

Is a diagnostic funded by Bpifrance?

Not automatically. Some schemes, such as Diag Data IA, may apply under conditions. We check eligibility and the intervention framework with you before any commitment; no funding is guaranteed.
